Here is how you can find your Farm Work to stay in straya!

If you want to stay a second year with a Working Holiday visa in Australia –  you don’t have a choice, you have to do your FARM WORK!

And in order to do so, you need to have:

  • Between 18 and 35 years old (included), if you are French
  • A passport, valid for at least 6 months
  • Access to sufficient funds to support yourself once you are back in Australia (if you have applied offshore)
  • AND of course, have at least done 3 months (or 88 days to be exact) of Farm Work or other type of work that fulfils the government requirements!

Here are 5 quick and efficient ways to look for and to obtain a job in a farm that will allow you to stay another year in Australia!

NUMBER 1: THE WEBSITES TO FIND YOUR FARM WORK

Job Search – https://jobsearch.gov.au/harvest

This one is the official website from the Government! This website includes a list of farms that are looking for help in real time.

Easy to use, we recommend you to go via this website as it shows a map of Australia and all the farms that are looking for staff.

Job boards- https://www.backpackerjobboard.com.au/

This website is dedicated to display job offers to backpackers and also includes lots of offers for fruit picking.

Agrilabour –  https://www.agrilabour.com.au/

This website is specialised in farm placement, so no “dodgy” placement in a farm that doesn’t pay you or another bad deal like this. On this website you will only find jobs in serious farms.

 Facebook groups

Do not underestimate the power of the French community in Australia. There are daily offers of French people leaving their farm who are looking for a replacement.

You can also post a message on groups and jump on the offers that you see.
